Any update search should be done via the Blizzard Launcher menu.
For whatever reason, Internet Explorer (which I never use) was set to "work offline".

Also when I clicked the launcher I ot a prompt from my security saying checking if I wanted to allow Wo W to update ("This file has changed since last you used it.. When I clicked yes Wo W Launcher gave me:"Launcher Error: BLZPTS0000B - Failed to Create a Required File"Try turning on your secondary logon path.- Go to start- Control panel- Administrative tools- Services- Scroll down and find the secondary logon service.- Right click on it and go to properties- In the area marked "Startup Type" change that to "automatic"This is required now for WOW to install updates.
